Pinguicula 'Emarginata x Weser' is a charming and compact hybrid featuring flat, rounded leaves arranged in a neat rosette. The leaves may range from soft green to flushed pink under strong light, with a slightly scalloped or notched edge inherited from its emarginata lineage. Like all butterworts, its leaves are covered in sticky mucilage that captures and digests tiny insects like fungus gnats and fruit flies. This hybrid is favoured for its colourful foliage and tidy growth habit—perfect for terrariums or sunny windowsills.

Growing Requirements

Light: Bright indirect light to filtered sunlight. Artificial lighting between 5000–6500K works well indoors.

Water: Use only low-mineral water such as distilled, rainwater, or reverse osmosis (RO) water.
