From the home of the Bearded Dragon
Australian Desert Dragon Habitat is the ultimate substrate for Bearded Dragons and all other Australian desert dwelling reptiles. No other substrate can compete with the real thing!
Ethically sourced from central Australia, we are proud to bring some of your Bearded Dragons natural home to them. There are several species of Bearded Dragon in Australia. All have a flat body, a broad head and stout legs. Sharp spikes run along the sides of their bodies and their throats.
Males are typically brighter in colour than females. Depending on the species, Bearded Dragons are coloured grey, orange, light brown, brown or black. Bearded Dragons are found across Australia, typically in arid or semi-arid environments.
The Eastern Bearded Dragon is widespread, found in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria. Bearded Dragons live in woodlands, coastal dunes, heathland, tropical savannahs and deserts. They’re often seen basking on tree stumps, fence posts, branches or boulders.
From here they can see predators, prey and mates, all the while soaking up some sun. Directions for use: Spread evenly or create mounds and burrowing structures depending on the desired look.
It is recommended to place basking rocks, wood and other natural decor to help replicate the natural environment of Australia. Spot clean as needed and make sure you change your Australian Desert Habitat regularly to ensure your animal has a clean enclosure.
A tissue culture vessel is a clear gel, transparent container (5 cm diameter x 7 cm height) that holds multiple young plants (typically 3 or more) grown under laboratory conditions.
These vessels provide a carefully controlled environment, keeping the plants healthy and contaminant-free until they're ready to transition to standard growing conditions.
Quick Hardening Steps:
Each transparent Transition Cup (5 cm diameter × 7 cm height) contains a juvenile carnivorous plant that has moved beyond sterile tissue culture and into a structured transition medium.
Inside, you’ll find a young carnivorous plant securely planted in a semi-solid blend designed to support root development while easing the shift from gel to soil.
This carefully balanced environment maintains optimal humidity and airflow, helping reduce transplant shock and supporting the plant during this critical transition stage.
Suitable for both novice growers and experienced collectors, Transition Cups provide a reliable, low-stress way to guide delicate carnivorous plants toward successful soil establishment.
